« Candidates of category (a) - skilled workers
In combination with an immigration application we offer skilled worker candidates additional support re to temporary work permits and upon arrival in Canada our settlement support to facilitate the orientation phase when you and your family are settling into the new environment.

« Category (b) - business immigration is divided into three classes:

(1) entrepreneurs
(2) self-employed and
(3) investors

(1) If applying under the entrepreneur class, which refers i.e. to small and medium sized businesses and to all trades, it is mandatory to provide a business plan with the immigration application that outlines your business activities that you intend to establish in Canada.

TransAtlantic Business Services Inc. assists you with the preparation of the Business plan so that it meets the mandatory requirements for immigration. In addition business clients may also take advantage of our special Business service and our Internet Service.

(2) The self-employed class is restricted to the following professions only:

Artists and athlets that either participate at a world-class level in cultural activities or athletics or that are acting on a self-employment basis.
Farmers with experience in farm management that intend to purchase and run a farm in Canada.

For candidates in the self-employed class we offer the following service: a first consultation and evaluation of the possible steps, our full support with the immigration application and a settlement service upon arrival.

(3) Candidates of the investor class have to provide evidence of a total net worth of $800,000.00 of which they have to invest the amount of $400,000.00 into a special fund of the Canadian Government for a blocked period of five years. After that period the Canadian Government guarantees to release the total amount to the investor interest free. The candidate in this class has the advantage of a free choice where to settle in Canada and there are no economic conditions to fulfill upon arrival in Canada.

« Immigration applications as Provincial Nominee (c)

If you have already determined the Province in Canada to move to prior to submitting your immigration application, you may apply under the Nominee Program of that particular Province.

Almost every Province has a so called Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) which is a special treaty between the Province and the Canadian Federal Government providing the Province with a certain influence in the choice of immigrants for their particular jurisdiction.

According to the economic discrepancies between the Provinces, each Province has defined its own goals and requirements for its PN Program that have to be met by a PNP applicant.

However an application under a Provincial Nominee Program may imply some advantages for the applicant and may facilitate the application procedure.

It is part of our initial consulting meeting to provide potential clients with an overview of the various PNPs. We then evaluate with you which program might suit your individual situation best.

« Sponsorship applications - family reunion (d)

Immigrants which have become Canadian citizens or which have permanent resident status in Canada may sponsor certain family members under the aspect of family reunion.

The immigration for a sponsored person consists of two applications, the first is the sponsorship application which has to be submitted by the sponsor, the family member in Canada and the second is the immigration application which has to be submitted by the sponsoree, the family member that wants to immigrate and join the family in Canada.

With the sponsorship application the Canadian government evaluates the eligibility of the sponsor in Canada and only when this application is approved the sponsoree may submit the immigration application.

A sponsorship application is often a quite extensive venture involving a lot of personal questions re to the relationship between the sponsor and the sponsoree.
